Adams Rite 1

We Come across Adams Rite products on a weekly basis, from Adams Rite Door Closers , Adams Rite Glass Door locks to Adams Rite latches they are one of the most common hardware manufacturers that you will find in commercial Aluminium doors around the UK .

ABUS 2

ABUS's reputation is more around high security padlocks but in recent years they are producing great quality cylinders that work with their Abus lock keys so more and more are we seeing Abus door locks or cylinders fitted in domestic front and rear doors.

Clearline 3

Teleflex window winding gear / Teleflex winding gear is a great solution for high level windows and due to it being an manual set up it ticks the boxes when it comes to current building regulations and we commonly find this type of product as a great solutions for Schools and Hospitals. We as a company specialise in Teleflex installation in London. We maintain and repair Teleflex windows and all other types of manual window winding gear .

Dorma 4

Dorma Closers or Dorma Door Closers are probably one of the most common door closers repairs we come across and offer a full range of Dorma door services. Their range of different styles of closers from surface mounted attached at the top of the door to floorspings or floor closers that sit in the floor and quality of their product is second to none. if we are looking to upgrade a door closers or replace a unit that is no longer available Dorma closers is alway our preferred product brand as the product application and quality generally suits most door set up's.

Axim 5

Axim Door closers are probably in my opinion one of the most popular Aluminium Transom door closers we come across, 7 times out of 10 when we take off the top transom plate on an Aluminium Door you will see an Axim door closer, not saying they are a closer that goes faulty far from it they are a very good quality door closer it is the types of doors they get fitted on are normally high traffic doors and external doors so get a lot of use.and there fore end up being a common door closer repair . Axim doors can also have Axim locks and Axim Emergency exit devices. We also do glass replacements on these types of doors.

Geze 6

Geze and I might be wrong but again like Dorma are a German company with very similar product ranges and like Dorma in my opinion just my opinion! both products are very good quality (must be the German engineering) Geze door closers come in all different forms, we see more of there Geze surface mounted closers at the top of the door but they also do Geze under floor closers / Geze Floorsprings along with the Geze Boxer closer that is hidden inside the top of the door., another common door closer repair we come across.

Briton 7

Briton hardware along with Briton Door closers are still very popular especially when it comes to Briton panic hardware or Briton emergency exit devices. Briton emergency panic hardware is great solution for timber doors but we still see them fitted to steel doors and Aluminium doors. Briton now comes under the Allegion umbrella and join other brands like Von Duprin , Stanley and LCN.

Mila 8

Mila parts are a very popular choice of hardware found in UPVC doors and windows and now we see there products more and more in Aluminium doors and windows , there range consists of Mila door locks, Mila window locks / Mila Gear boxes to Mila door handles and Mila window handles. They have now got a full range of Mila door hinges along with there Mila window hinge / friction hinges.

Union 9

We have always known Union for there great quality of Union locks / Union lock cases ranging from a 2 lever version to a 5 lever Union lock case for more security but over the years they have evolved into Union cylinders and now have a great range of Union door closers which are all generally closers that attach to the top of the door and are generally hinged doors, suitable for mainly Timber Fire Doors but can also be fitted on non Fire doors like Aluminium or Steel.

Glass door repairs are a daily call for us and as we work in London on a daily basis and due to the streets of London being like wind tunnels in some areas our manual glass door repairs in London are quite common. we often get calls for Dorma Glass Door repairs , Geze Glass Door repairs and Speedy Glass Door repairs which mainly cover fully glazed Glass doors but you also have Aluminium Glazed doors which are normally Axim Glass doors or Alpro Glass doors , all of these types of door are mainly found on main entrance doors.

Window repairs whether it be on UPVC windows or Aluminium windows are now quite a common job for us and we see more and more issues with friction style hinges with the tell tail sign of a set that needs replacing when the hinge side starts to pop out leaving a gap between window and frame and stopping the window either from opening and closing properly or not locking. The other issues we come across is window locking systems, now days windows tend to have a centre window lock / gearbox which attaches to a shoot-bolt system that has 2 extra points of locking at each end of the window and when these shoot-bolts come away from the centre gearbox that shoots the bolts which is normally in the locked position and in the middle of summer when you really need to be able to open the window that is when we get a call to come and help. The last issue we come across is the good old window handle not working.

Rutland 10

Rutland door closers are getting quite popular and guess what we maintain them, they have quite an extensive range from Rutland scissor arm door closers , Rutland slide arm door closers , Rutland concealed slide arm door closers , Rutland electromagnetic door closers , Rutland floorsprings / floorcloser and finally now they also do Rutland aluminium transom door closers so they have quite the range and it is not uncommon for them not to put their logo on the closer covers so sometimes you need to remove the cover to identify their closers, We generally find their products on Timber doors and in Schools and Hospitals as alot of their range is Fire Rated and to BS EN standards.

Hoppe 11

Arrone door parts fall under the Hoppe umbrella and between them they offer a huge range of door hardware from Arrone door closers to Hoppe hinges and handles which is mainly found more in commercial buildings like Schools and Hospitals and the quality of the product is very high standard as well. When ever we come across Hoppe or Arrone products we always try to fix like for like as there is no real upgrade to their products as they are of such a good standard and due to the fact you find their products in alot of commercial buildings alot of their product conform to BS EN standards and are Certifire 3rd party tested when it comes to fire standards.

Yale 12

Any one who has been in the industry for a while will know Yale for Yale locks, one of the best locks out there and going back 20 or 30 years lock wise you either saw Union locks or Yale locks they were the 2 main locks out in the market when it came to 3 lever locks or 5 lever British standerd locks, know days we mainly come across Yale multi point locks or Yale Mantis Multi Point Locks found in UPVC doors or composite doors

Exidor 13

Exidor door closers and Exit hardware are a popular product range and have been around for a long time once known as Fred Duncombe and were the main suppliers for Peter Jackson Aluminium door closers and hardware and Jebron door closers and hardware and I think but may be wrong that the Jebron door closers were the chosen choice of hardware for Allgoods but don't quote us on that. Back to the hardware, all of their products are more for commercial use and the Panic Hardware / Exit Hardware is a really good bit of kit, they have the Exidor 2oo series which is more of a crash bar style and is a good solution for low use doors, the Exidor 400 series which is more of a touch bar solution, the Exidor 500 Series which is a good solution for UPVC doors as they have a great range of keeps that work with the UPVC profiles or rebates and then finally the high security Exidor 700 Series which really is a great high security bit of kit. Exidor Door closers are of a good standard and we would always recommend replacing like for like with this product type.

Master key systems are a great way to control access for commercial buildings, residential flats, schools and hospitals. The idea is to have 1 Grand master key that opens every door in the building (this is the key you don't loose of give out) then under that key you can have multiple sub maters for specific areas within the building and then again you can have additional sub masters that then in that specific area only open certain doors within that area so the master key section then starts to branch out like a tree in essence and controlling who has access access to specific areas and rooms of your building the other good thing with master key sections is that staff/users can't go and just get extra keys cut which could potentially breach the security measures you have put in place by using a master key section as all master key sections have a patented key blank and any extra keys can only be ordered via the original supplier of the master key section which is all based around keeping the site secure. if you need any advice or any clarification on anything to do with master key just contact us.
